The battle between good and evil takes us to the moons of Endor and revelations are made, pacts are secured and a new death star to be destroyed.
Here is the plot if you already don’t know it!
Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) battles horrible Jabba the Hut and cruel Darth Vader to save his comrades in the Rebel Alliance and triumph over the Galactic Empire. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) reaffirm their love and team with Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), the Ewoks and the androids C-3PO and R2-D2 to aid in the disruption of the Dark Side and the defeat of the evil emperor.
Yes, this is the third in a trilogy of movies I hold dear. I love the Star Wars universe and its music. This album is no exception. John Williams gives us the epic Emperor theme that chills us to this day. We get the Parade of the Ewoks and some epic battle music that I still hum every so often. John Williams is even set to compose Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. How many more films John Williams composes I don’t know, but we can treasure the music for much longer even after he is gone.
