Beverly Hills Cop II

” Oh, you mean the construction that’s going on. Yes, I’m very embarrassed about that. What I’m trying to do, though, is just confine myself to the other five bedrooms. I’m used to compromising my lifestyle.” Axel Foley replies to his boss.

We join Axel for another adventure in Beverly Hills. He makes it a blast for us!

What’s the plot? The hard-nosed Detroit cop from the original film returns to Los Angeles to help solve another case. This time he must direct his efforts towards unraveling the Alphabet Crimes, a series of robberies committed by leather-jacketed punks. The investigation puts him on the trail of an illegal arms dealer and his hit lady.

This film was directed by Tony Scott. He is already missed.

If you enjoy this movie on regular television, that is the place to watch it. The language clearly proves its a rated R movie. The soundtrack is full of great songs though.

You can get the soundtrack on Amazon. This soundtrack is a tad expensive, but it isn’t really a surprise because the soundtrack has been out of print.

You can also get the soundtrack on ITunes.

Would you like some clips?

Here you go…

Shakedown – Bob Seger

Better Way – James Ingram

Hold On – Ketta Bill

Be There – The Pointer Sisters

These are just a few of the songs you’ll find on the soundtrack.

That’s it for this week! Look forward to my post this week and Next Week Cherry 2000! Happy Listening!
