“The key to a happy life is to accept you are never actually in control.”

Jurassic World brought us back to the whole idea that man cannot control nature, no matter the cost.

Michael Giacchino showed us how he could take the themes from Jurassic Park and the Lost World and give us a totally new movie. Especially since he did a orchestrated version of The Lost World: Jurassic Park video game soundtrack

Jurassic World harkened back to the original two movies for several reasons. 1) You have a giant Dinosaur Park.

2) You have lots and lots of People. 3)New Dinosaur that terrorizes Dinos and People. 4)Likeable people. 5)A Killer Score that sets the tone for the movie. 6)Epic Dinosaur battle at the end with the climatic themes of Jurassic World flowing through your mind.

I really loved the movie. I haven’t purchased the soundtrack yet, but Michael Giacchino is one of my favorite composers. He is up and coming and has probably learned to give us “Themes” back into movie scores! This has been sorely lacking in the world of soundtracks lately. We need Themes to identify with the movie we are watching. We must have it so we can get a feeling of elation in us to help through the movie and talk about what a great movie it was.

So my score for Jurassic World is a 9.7.

My Score for the Soundtrack is a perfect 10!

I leave you with the Amazon Link to buy the score.
